Layer 1: RAID-10 Disk Arrays

IGXHost only utilizes high-end servers that have their hard drives in a RAID-10 Disk Array. RAID stands for Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks. It is a technology which combines multiple disk drives to increase performance and increase reliability.

RAID-10 is disk mirroring and striping. In our servers it consists of four disk drives. Data is mirrored between two disks and then striped over two additional disks. The total size of the array is the size of two of the disk drives. RAID-10 has the highest disk read and writes rates. It also offers the highest level of reliability as it can sustain multiple drive failures in some cases without data loss.

Layer 2: R1Soft CDP

R1Soft is designed by Data Center Engineers for Data Center Engineers. R1Soft Continuous Data Protection is the only CDP Software that protects both Windows and Linux servers. Continuous Data Protection is affordable, easy-to-use, high performance backup, restore, and disaster recovery software.

Layer 3: Off-Site Nightly Backups

Along with R1Soft off-site backups, we also create secondary off-site backups using the standard Rsync method. Back-ups are made once per day and every 7 days. We take this one extra precaution to ensure that back-ups are kept on different locations in case one instance goes down. We look after our clients' websites and data and by offering these solutions we'll be able to help recover any loss or damaged data upon request.

OpenVZ Virtualization

OpenVZ is container-based virtualization for Linux. OpenVZ creates multiple secure, isolated containers (otherwise known as VEs or VPSs) on a single physical server enabling better server utilization and ensuring that applications do not conflict. Each container performs and executes exactly like a stand-alone server; a container can be rebooted independently and have root access, users, IP addresses, memory, processes, files, applications, system libraries and configuration files.

High-End Servers Only

All of our hosting servers are high-end machines equipped with the latest and most powerful components to ensure high performance. We feature high end Intel and AMD CPUs with a minimal of 4 cores. We also use super fast hard SAS hard drives in a RAID-10 array for fast read and write speeds plus redundancy.

Rapid Response Team

Providing efficient customer support is one of our top priorities and it is what sets IGXHost apart from any other web host. Being able to maintain a 30 minute average response time to all requests is one of our main features. We know that when our customers need help, they'll need it fast. This is where our Rapid Response Team comes into play. Any helpdesk or e-mail request to any department is notified to each and every one of our staff who are on duty via e-mail and SMS. This way our staff will know when you've submitted the request and will be able to respond to you almost immediately on a first come first serve basis.
